Requirements
Submissions are open to all WMMS students.
There are now four types of writing that we accept!
-Flash Fiction: short fiction story (please limit to 5,000 words)
-Poetry: You may submit more than one poem, but may not submit more than 5 pages worth. (We accept all kinds of poetry)
-Creative Non-Fiction: Interesting events that have happened to you.
-Novel Excerpts: the first few chapters of your original novel.
(Please note that not all submissions will be published in the magazine. Anything that is not school-appropriate will be unable to be published. Plagiarism is prohibited and will be reported.)
We are also accepting cover art submissions. We'd like the covers to have at least one of these qualities:
-Tiger
-Orange and Black
-Something about writing (Ex: Pen, pencils, typewriters, etc.)
To enter your writing, share your Google Doc with Mrs. Martin ([email protected]), Katie Reed ([email protected]), and Annaliese Novinger ([email protected]) using your school Google account. If you need help, ask Mrs. Martin, ask your English teacher or refer to the video below.
The deadline for the Spring 2015 Edition is Friday, March 20th.
